About Me
Born and raised in Northern California. Now based in LA.
I started doing Shakespeare in the backyard with my friends when I was 13 and haven't looked back since. I studied classical piano and violin from the age of 7 until college when I decided to pursue acting and musical theater at BYU. While there I found a pension for writing music and founded Imagine Dragons with Dan Reynolds, contributing to the band's very first EP, Speak to Me. Career pursuits led me to NYC post graduation. My very first job was Eliza Doolittle in the national tour of My Fair Lady, which was remounted (twice!) for international runs in Asia.
Many plays, films, commercials, musicals, and an EP of original songs later, I am in Los Angeles, back to my California roots.
All along the way I've been thrift shopping. Yes, like the Macklemore song. My mom took us to hunt for costumes as a kid and in high school I became an addict. Fast forward a few years and my sister and I produce our own show, Thrifted Sister where we take on thrift challenges, create awareness for sustainable fashion, and promote small businesses. Check it out on my YouTube tab.
